The Peruvian province of Cusco, is one of the thirteen that comprise the Department of Cuzco, to be administered by the regional government of Cuzco. Its northern border province of Calca and Urubamba province, east of the province of Quispicanchi, south to the province of Paruro and west by the province of Anta.

The province was created in the early years of the Republic.

The province has an area of 719 km ˛ and is divided into eight districts:
