A channel nearly a mile, bring the water height and becomes underground to pass under what could be a intihuatana, in the northwest corner of the complex. From there it spread over the waters enabled channels controlled irrigation gates in the series of terraces running down the small valley that contains the monument. The platforms are of excellent workmanship in the fitting of the stones and the quality of the stroke. Could be used for special crops and agricultural research. Moray being a place for experimentation in microclimates and rainfed irrigation, Tipon could play a similar role to explore agricultural techniques based on artificial irrigation.
