Paucartambo Peruvian Province is one of the thirteen provinces in the Cusco Department, under the administration of the regional government of Cusco, Peru. It limits the north with the Department of Madre de Dios, east and south by the Province of Quispicanchi, and west by the Province of Calca and the Province of La Convención.
History
Corresponds to the old township of the Andes. Among his lot particularly magistrates are: Manuel de Zamudio (XVII century) and Pedro Florez de Cienfuegos (XVIII century). Administratively, the province was established on June 21, 1825, by order of Simon Bolivar
